‘After Roe?’ is subject of session with attorney general; public is invited
The community is invited to “After Roe? An Evening With New Jersey Attorney General Matt Platkin” on Thursday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m.
The event will be held in person at Temple Ner Tamid, 936 Broad St., Bloomfield. There will be a livestream option as well.
In light of the recent leaked Supreme Court draft majority opinion on “Roe vs. Wade,” Platkin will address its impact on reproductive rights and other civil rights in New Jersey and across the country.
He also will speak about many of the important issues around equity and equality in New Jersey, from criminal justice reform to environmental justice to fair housing.
The event is co-sponsored by Temple Ner Tamid, the Montclair branch of the NAACP and RAC-NJ.
Proof of vaccine is required; masks are optional. Refreshments will be served afterward.
