
Culture in brief: artists wanted for A Lot to Grow Benson Street Garden
Artists are invited to submit their work for “A Lot to Show Benson Street Garden,” a nature-inspired community art exhibition, for the Benson Street Garden A Lot to Grow, to be held on Saturday, May 18. Submissions close April 26. Residents of Glen Ridge, Bloomfield, Nutley and Montclair are eligible to apply.
All artwork should follow the theme of gardening, growing food, and nature. Examples might include bees, vegetables, bugs, soil, seasons.

All two-dimensional work must be framed or mounted and ready to hang; no hanging work can be larger than 36”. Three-dimensional work must have the ability to be displayed in a garden bed. Artists are encouarged to give a $15 entry fee to help maintain the garden, but fees can be waived for those unable to donate. At least three photos of the work, with description, artist’s name, location and dimensions of work should be sent to alottoshow@gmail.com.
