Betty Who to be featured artist at inaugural Montclair Pride Festival concert
Betty Who will be the featured musical artist at the inaugural Montclair Pride Concert June 11, with Fab the Duo as supporting artists.
The concert is part of the first-ever Montclair Pride Festival.
Australian singer/songwriter Betty Who has had multiple #1s on Billboard charts including Hot 100 and Top Dance Club charts like her breakout hit “Somebody Loves You,” as well as “All of You,”and “All Things,” her cover of Netflix’s Queer Eye opening number, according to an Out Montclair press release.
Fab the Duo is an alt rock duo based in Los Angeles and boyfriends in real life, according to the release. Broadway World noted they've performed at Pride festivals in Austin, Los Angeles and Burlington and "hope to change the way people see queer, interracial love in the music scene and beyond," the release said.
“We are so excited to welcome Betty Who, a phenomenal talent who has performed and provided the soundtrack for Pride celebrations the world over,” Peter Yacobellis, Out Montclair President, Founder and township councillor, said in the release. “Betty Who has also been a steadfast supporter of nonprofit organizations that serve and protect LGBTQ youth and people, a key mission for Out Montclair."
