
Car flipped in collision on Chestnut Street
On April 22, a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Chestnut Street and Christopher Street, police said. Montclair Police responded to a report of the crash at 3:20 p.m.
Police Sergeant Terence Turner said a 73-year-old woman was driving a 2018 BMW 330 north on Christopher Street when her car collided with a 2018 Ford Escape traveling west on Chestnut Street. After the crash, the Ford Escape came to rest on its passenger side.
The driver of the Ford Escape, a 46-year-old woman, exited the car through the trunk, Turner said. No injuries were reported.
The accident is still under investigation.
