Culture in brief: Halfway There series Monday, Jan. 22

Halfway There, Montclair’s authors’ reading series, returns to the Red Eye Cafe on Monday, Jan. 22.

The evening will feature Kim Coleman Foote, Evie Shockley, Bud Smith and Nancy Star. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., readings begin at 7 p.m. and will be followed by an audience Q&A, with time after for book-buying and signing.

Now in its third year, Halfway There aims to bring together established and emerging literary voices. In this installment, all four authors have a New Jersey connection.
