Culture in brief: Montclair History Center, Presidents, ‘Hidden Figures’
At the Crane House and Historic YWCA, on Monday, Feb. 19, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., children can discover how our past presidents (and their wives and children) lived through crafts and other activities at this drop-off program. The address is 110 Orange Road, Montclair.

Montclair History Center’s "Price of Liberty" film and discussion series returns with “Hidden Figures,” on Thursday, Feb. 15, p.m. at the Montclair Public Library and on Tuesday, Feb. 27, from 7 p.m., at Montclair Film's Cinema505.
The movie unpacks the story of the brilliant women featured in the film and the discrimination they faced at NASA. The film is shown in partnership with Montclair Film. Lillie Edwards, PhD, a Montclair resident and Professor Emeritus at Drew University, is the program’s moderator. Montclair Public Library is at 50 S. Fullerton Ave. Cinema505 is at 505 Bloomfield Ave. Free.
