#TheSaxumElf settled atop 475 Bloomfield Ave. COURTESY SAXUM

A 12-foot tall elf has taken up residence on Bloomfield Avenue. #TheSaxumElf settled atop 475 Bloomfield Ave. today, Dec. 13.

From his vantage point, on top of the Saxum Real Estate building, he is able to watch over Montclair.

Watching over Montclair.

#TheSaxumElf made his debut last year “as a symbol of holiday spirit and a token of Saxum’s appreciation for the communities and downtowns that have welcomed Saxum since its inception in 2014.” Last year, The Saxum Elf visited four of Saxum’s buildings, including in Montclair, Red Bank and New Brunswick.

“We wanted to provide a bit of holiday magic to the town as a token of our appreciation for welcoming us,” said Anthony Rinaldi, Saxum’s Managing Principal. “We plan to take the elf on a journey through Saxum’s portfolio. Stay tuned for where he’ll land next!”

For the remainder of the holiday season, #TheSaxumElf will mysteriously move among Saxum’s buildings in various New Jersey communities. How long he will stay in Montclair, no one knows for sure.

Follow Saxum on Instagram for the latest on his movements and whereabouts or visit TheSaxumElf.com. Residents can take a photo with the elf and share it on Instagram with the hashtag #TheSaxumElf.
