Some upcoming Essex County holiday events featured in The Winter Holiday Guide include:

- “Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s Wild & Swingin’ Holiday Party,” drawing on a rich catalogue of holiday classics and Christmas originals from the band’s two full length holiday albums, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy brings its world-renowned live show, and fun and quirky take on the holidays to the Wellmont Theater in Montclair on Dec. 16.
- “Holiday Gift Shoppe & Art Show,” at this exhibit, new artists participate each weekend with new one-of-a-kind items. Each purchase supports the West Orange Arts Council and local artists & artisans. The event is taking place at the West Orange Arts Center from Dec. 11 to Dec. 19.
- “Winter Camp: Mixed Media Mashup,” students will experiment with a variety of art media and learn new techniques for self-expression in a fun and supportive atmosphere with other creative kids. “New Jersey is bursting at the seams with wonderful options to enjoy together: family festivals, maker markets, colorful concerts and so much more,” Perle said in the release. “We hope New Jerseyans will get out and witness the wonder of live performances and Jersey-made art.
