Please join MAM and the Montclair Community Pre-K in welcoming Mary Ehrenworth, who will speak about the power of visual art to inspire student writing. Mary Ehrenworth is deputy director at the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project (a not-for-profit organization) at Columbia University, which leads research and staff development in literacies, nationally and internationally. She is the coauthor and author of over a dozen books, including most recently the national bestseller in education, Pathways to the Common Core, as well as The Power of Grammar; Looking to Write, and many more. Dr. Ehrenworth works with schools and districts around the globe. Professional Development Certificates will be available for educators. Tickets available through www.montclairartmuseum.org
