Clara Maass Medical Center Presents Life Is Better Healthy 5K Run and Fun Walk

In its effort to ensure everyone in the community, regardless of their age, knows how to become healthy and stay healthy, Clara Maass Medical Center presents Life is Better Healthy 5K Run and Fun Walk on Sunday, September 27 at the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo and South Mountain Recreation Complex located at 560 Northfield Ave. in West Orange.

Taking place rain or shine, the 5K Run and Fun Walk benefits the KidsFit Program – an award-winning, interactive wellness program that teaches kids how to lead healthy lifestyles and behaviors within the classroom and after school programs.

Registration and warm up begin at 8:30 a.m. The run will begin at 9:30 a.m., directly followed by the walk at 9:45 a.m. Tickets, which include free parking and admission to the Zoo, are $35 for adults (ages 18+) and $8 for children.  Registration is required online at www.zoofunrun.org.
