Join best-selling author of Tuesdays with Morrie, Mitch Albom, as he takes us through his 35 years of covering sports, from the biggest names in sports to the dangers of fandom. He explores the money, corruption, racial tensions, as well as the pride, thrills, and excitement of the games that have shaped our nation. As a sports reporter, Albom has been named the #1 Sports Columnist in the Nation by the Associated Press Sports Editors (APSE) 13 times and appears regularly on ESPN’s Sports Reporters. Most recently, he received the biggest prizes in sports journalism, the APSE Red Smith Award for lifetime achievement and an induction into the Sportswriters Hall of Fame. Sports is a metaphor for everything we face in life, and in this talk, Albom explains why it us something we will never outgrow.
