“I’m Talking to My Mother” album released

“Im Talking to My Mother” was inspired by some of the greatest stories that Francesco Paladino has experienced as a child into adulthood. “I wanted to do an album like this when I saw other comics on social media releasing live albums. I wanted to do something different than that. Something nuts. Something that would entertain people, yet confuse them, and yet make them excited about life. How about I sit and read stories from my journal? Or read fan letters? Or just tell a story about something I saw.”
The title was inspired by a long time slogan that Paladino uses, that refers to “talking” to people that are ignoring him. “I’m
Talking to My Mother” because his mother was “half listening my whole life…it explains a lot about me.”
The album not only represents personal experience, but social commentary, and of course hilarious observational comedy.
