Ladies Night Out: Cold Process Soap Making

Join us for a fun evening of making your own batch of custom soap! You will learn a brief history of soap, safety tips and practices, how to properly handle sodium hydroxide (Lye), the basic chemical process of soap, how to customize your soap with color, scents and additives, options for molds and what to do with your soap after it saponifies (chemically changes into soap). Taught by Maureen Harris-Coyle of Heaven Scent Beauty
