Landscape By the Yard – Planting and Caring for Unusual Plants

A series of Spring 2015 Workshops led by noted landscape designer Lisa Mierop, owner/operator of Mierop Design, and landscaper Frank J. Contey, owner/operator of Terra Graphics Landscape Services. The duo has cooperated on projects in northern New Jersey, including Van Vleck’s all-season formal garden. Continuing Van Vleck’s dedication to serving the Montclair community, these workshops are educational programs that homeowners can apply to their own gardens. They are of special interest to new homeowners, who may want to create gardens but need help getting started.

Discussing highlights of unusual or unique trees, shrubs and perennials, many available in this year’s plant sale, Lisa and Frank will draw upon their 20+ years of hands-on growing experience in this area… including advice on how to install and care for new garden additions.
