Montclair Shakespeare Series

The Montclair Shakespeare Series Presents a Free Concert Staged Reading of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night.

Beginning with Twelfth Night, at 8 PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at the Montclair Women’s Club (82 Union Street), the newly founded Montclair Shakespeare Series will perform concert readings of Shakespeare’s work, open to the public and free of charge.

In this “no-frills” concert reading style, plays are read by the actors with the script in hand with very limited staging. The emphasis is on the classical language and on the actors’ ability to bring the characters to life without costumes, sets, or movement.

This inaugural performance will feature a stellar cast of actors from both NYC and the Montclair area.

Twelfth Night is a one-night-only event. Tickets are limited, and available by RSVP to montclairshakespeare@gmail.com. Although a free event, donations are appreciated!
