TeleBrands Inventors Day for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
May 6, 2015 @ 10:30 pm
Free, please register10 teams. $10,000 cash on the line. Who will win it all?
Join us May 6 for our second annual student pitch competition where 10 teams of Montclair State students will pitch their product/service innovations. The TeleBrands Inventors Day for Aspiring Entrepreneurs is the culmination of two semesters of work in which the Montclair State students created business models and marketing plans for their products/services, as well as hypothetical models for obtaining capital funding, all in conjunction with volunteer mentors. The students are pursuing a Certificate of Entrepreneurship, issued by the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship in the School of Business at Montclair State University; the pitch competition will help determine the students’ final grade. The students have lived a true entrepreneurial experience during the school year, experiencing the hard work as well as frustrations they will face on the long road to launching a successful business. Seed capital for each team was funded by Guy Falzarano, founder and CEO of Rainbow Academy.
The pitches will be evaluated and judged by a panel of celebrity judges, including:
AJ Khubani, president and CEO of TeleBrands
Todd Pettengill, co-host Todd & Jayde Show on WPLJ, 95.5 FM
Anthony “Sully” Sullivan, TV pitchman
