‘Ladybug Life’ for kids, at Van Vleck House

Van Vleck House & Gardens is offering “Ladybug Life” as part of its Summer 2022 Tales on the Trails outdoor series for children on Tuesday, Aug. 9, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. The program begins in the gardens with a story, continues with a walk and concludes with a craft or activity. A parent or caregiver must accompany each child. On Wednesday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon, Van Vleck House is presenting “Butterflies” as part of its Outdoor Adventures series for children. Recommended for ages 4 to 11, but all are welcome. $15. Registration required by the day before the program. On Thursday, Aug. 11, Van Vleck is offering a Garden Tales Kids Gardening Class from 10 to 11 a.m. $15-$20. Appropriate for children in grades K-3; registration required two days before class.
