The Montclair History Center is holding Museum Store Sunday on Nov. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Nathaniel Crane House; the selection includes many Montclair-centric items. The center’s History at Home series continues on Thursday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. with “The Toll of the Garden State,” a presentation about the history of the Garden State Parkway and its impact on the area. On Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3 and 4, from noon to 3 p.m. each day, the Crane House & Historic YWCA will be part of the Essex County Holiday House Tour Weekend. The site will have been decorated for the season by the Garden Club of Montclair. The History Center will offer candlelight tours of the Crane House & Historic YWCA on two Thursdays, Dec. 8 and 15, at 6:30 p.m., and children’s holiday tours of the building on two Fridays, Dec. 9 and 16, on the hour at 4, 5 and 6 p.m. There will be self-guided open house tours of the building available on three Sundays, Dec. 4, 11 and 18, from noon to 3 p.m. More information on these and other events, tickets and Zoom links: montclairhistory.org
