Firefighters battle house fire during snowstorm

Fire crews responded to a major fire at a multi-family house on Valley Road and Walnut Street Thursday evening, during a heavy snowstorm.

Deputy Chief Robert Duncan said as of 7:45 p.m., crews were still on the scene extinguishing the fire. The cause is undetermined at this time.

Neighbors reported that the fire was out as of 8 p.m. All residents were evacuated safely.
