Friday night's heavy winds and rain may have delayed the Trunk or Treat gathering at the Montclair Police Department headquarters — but it didn't dampen any spirits.
The gathering was rescheduled from Friday to Sunday, Halloween itself, one of several Halloween celebrations throughout town. The Montclair Center BID had also invited trick-or-treaters to stop by more than 50 downtown businesses that were handing out treats, photographer Michael Stahl was at the The Commonwealth Club of Montclair to create portraits of costumed kids, and Montclair Local and the Weirdo Party put on the Halloween Silent Disco to Save Montclair Local in Glenfield Park (part of the nonprofit newspaper's ongoing campaign to raise $230,000 this quarter).
Trunk or Treat featured prizes, giveaways ... and, of course, treats.
