Ibram X. Kendi will present his new book, “How to Be an Antiracist,” on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 7 p.m., at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair, 67 Church St. Due to overwhelmingly popular demand, the venue for this event has changed from its original location, Cinema505. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The event is presented in partnership with Watchung Booksellers. Kendi is a New York Times bestselling author and the founding director of The Antiracist Research & Policy Center at American University in Washington, DC.

In “How To Be an Antiracist,” Kendi asks readers to think about what an antiracist society might look like, and how they can play an active role in building it.
