
In brief: Halfway There series kicks off tonight
Halfway There, Montclair’s authors’ reading series, returns for the first reading of 2020 on Monday, Jan. 13, with National Book Award finalist and Montclair native Julia Phillips, Ysabel Y. Gonzalez, Randon Billings Noble, and Marco Rafalà at the Red Eye Cafe, 94 Walnut St.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with readings at 7 p.m., followed by a Q&A. Baked goods and coffee will be available from the Red Eye Cafe and books will be for sale from Watchung Booksellers. As always, Halfway There is a free event.
