Jaqueline Mroz to discuss ‘Scattered Seeds’ in Montclair
Author Jacqueline Mroz will discuss her book “Scattered Seeds: In Search of Family and Identity in the Sperm Donor Generation,” in conversation with Deborah Davis, on Friday, June 9, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at Watchung Booksellers.
According to a release, the book tells the stories of those affected by the explosive growth of the sperm donor industry. It also explores how the latest technology, such as DNA testing, is giving donor-conceived children the tools they need to track down and meet their donors.
The book is based on a New York Times science article by Mroz about a sperm donor who has 150 children. Watchung Booksellers is at 54 Fairfield St. For more information, call 973-744-7177 or visit watchungbooksellers.com.
