Police are investigating a report of an attempted luring incident involving a 12-year-old girl on June 11.

The girl was skateboarding on Oakcroft Avenue at approximately 2:15 p.m. when she was approached by a man who emerged from bushes alongside the railroad tracks and motioned for her to come closer to him. The man said nothing to the girl. The girl fled home and notified an adult, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 60s, walks with a slight hunch, and was last seen wearing a dark gray, long-sleeved flannel shirt, light gray baggy pants, and a black covering over his head and face, police said.
