The Montclair High School Robotics Team competed in its 21st season of the
FIRST Robotics Competition this year. It was one of four teams in its group to
advance to the semifinals of the international FIRST Innovation Challenge presented by
Qualcomm.

Their project, REACH (Revolutionized Electronic Arm Chair for Healthcare), aims to improve the lives of the wounded warriors and works through Picatinny Arsenal and the Wounded Warrior Project. This season, the team had the opportunity to speak to representatives of Stryker Corporation and Dr. Rory Cooper, the assistant vice chancellor for research for health sciences and STEM collaboration at the University of Pittsburgh, and the civilian aide to the secretary of the Army of Pennsylvania.

If you’re a high school student interested in joining or an adult interested in mentoring
the team, email  contact@montclairrobotics.org or check out the team's website.
