Arrests

Friday, Feb. 14—A 19-year-old Montclair woman was taken into custody by the East Orange Police Department after it was determined that she had warrants issued by Montclair. 

Burglary

Tuesday, Feb. 11—A vehicle owner reported that her unlocked motor vehicle was entered on Harrison Avenue, and the owner’s belongings were found scattered around the interior of the vehicle. Nothing was reported missing. 

Thefts

Sunday, Feb. 16—A vehicle owner reported that over $2,200 of property, mostly photo equipment, was stolen from his vehicle on Linden Avenue. The vehicle may have been left unlocked prior to the theft.

Sunday, Feb. 16—An employee at South Moon Under, a clothing shop on South Park Street, reported that two females left the store without paying for $48 in merchandise at approximately 1:10 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 16—A vehicle owner reported that approximately $2 in change, a $100 gift card and a parking permit were stolen from his vehicle on Roosevelt Place. 

Suspicious Incident

Tuesday, Feb. 18— Police responded to the area of Walnut Street on a report of a suspicious male walking through backyards and attempting to gain entry to a motor vehicle at approximately 3:15 a.m.
