Culture in brief: Talk on NJ Colonial Architecture
The Victorian Society in America, Northern New Jersey Chapter, presents author David Veasey on Monday, Feb. 19, 8 p.m., in a talk titled “New Jersey’s Colonial Architecture Told in 100 Buildings.”
The talk will take place at the Montclair Women’s Club, 82 Union St. The discussion will mention buildings in every county, including the Royal Governor’s Mansion in Perth Amboy, the still functioning Black Horse Inn in Mendham, Nassau Hall at Princeton University, Washington’s Headquarters in Morristown, and the Sandy Hook Lighthouse. Veasey has written three books on aspects of New Jersey history.
Admission is $5 for non-members. Refreshments will be served.
