Montclair library reopening second, third floors for first time since pandemic
The Montclair Public Library will be opening up the second and third floors of the main building for browsing on Friday, July 16.
Hours for browsing on those floors will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to noon and 3 to 5 p.m., and Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m., according to a library email.
Overall, the library is currently open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. It’s open from noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays.
The second and third floors of the main building had been closed since early on in the pandemic. The Bellevue Avenue branch recently reopened on a limited schedule.
The library email said that hours and services at both buildings would be expanded further in coming weeks.
