Montclair has lifted the state of emergency it declared on Saturday, Oct. 8, because of a water main break in Nutley, Mayor Sean Spiller announced on Friday, Oct. 14 in a YouTube video.

"As of today, that line is fully restored and operational," Spiller said. "The water has been tested and complies with all safety requirements. We will continue to do testing of the water they are providing on our end and if anything were to change we would issue a boil water alert as needed. So it is at this time that we're able to return to drawing our water at full capacity from the North Jersey district water supply."
