Wednesday, Oct. 30—A 40-year-old Clifton man was charged with driving while intoxicated on Bloomfield Avenue.

Wednesday, Oct. 30—A 61-year-old Montclair man was charged with theft on Trinity Place after he reportedly was found to be in possession of a cell phone belonging to another.

Wednesday, Oct. 30—A 29-year-old Clifton woman was arrested on Walnut Street following a motor vehicle stop when it was determined that she had warrants issued out of Montclair, Belleville and the Essex County Sheriff’s Office.

Friday, Nov. 1—A 32-year-old Montclair man was arrested on Orange Road after it was determined that he had a warrant issued out of Montclair.

Friday, Nov. 1—A 51-year-old Montclair resident was charged with driving while intoxicated on Union Street.

Sunday, Nov. 3—A 52-year-old Montclair woman was charged with driving while intoxicated on Valley Road. 

BURGLARY/THEFT

Tuesday, Oct. 29—A complainant reported that someone had entered his unlocked motor vehicle on Pleasant Avenue and stole a wallet from the glove compartment.

Thursday, Oct. 31—A complainant reported that a Dell laptop, valued at $1,300, was stolen from an office on Plymouth Street.

Thursday, Oct. 31—A complainant reported that her bicycle, a black Norco mountain bike valued at approximately $600, had been stolen on Church Street. The bicycle had been secured to a rack prior to the theft.

Thursday, Oct. 31—A complainant reported that on Oct. 30, a package left outside her residence on Valley Road had been stolen. Video captured a suspect, described as a thin male with short dark hair and a dark beard.

Thursday, Oct. 31—A complainant reported that over $25,500 worth of jewelry was stolen from a St. Luke’s Place  residence.

Friday, Nov. 1—A complainant reported that security footage captured a suspect possibly burglarizing the building. The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot, 10 inches to six feet with short hair, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Friday, Nov. 1—A complainant reported that a package containing $30 in merchandise was stolen from outside his residence on Grove Street.

Saturday, Nov. 2—A complainant believed she had left her wallet on a counter in the South End Food and Grill on Orange Road. After leaving the establishment for approximately 10 minutes, she returned but the wallet was not there.

Saturday, Nov. 2—A complainant on Grant Street reported that a Toyota Corolla was stolen from the Sherman Street lot.

Monday, Nov. 4—An employee at the 7-Eleven on Bloomfield Avenue reported that on the evening of Nov. 3, at approximately 10 p.m., a male reached behind the counter and stole approximately $250 worth of lottery tickets. 

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT

Saturday, Nov. 2—The complainant reported viewing footage of two males in her yard on Nov. 1 shortly before 10 p.m., possibly looking into the residence and in cars parked in the driveway. The first suspect was described as a black male, medium build, bearded, wearing blue jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt, white sneakers, a black skull cap, black gloves and a jacket similar to a varsity jacket, dark blue or black with yellow sleeves. The other suspect is described as a black male, medium build and weight, bearded, wearing gray pants, a gray jacket, black shoes, gray gloves and a black skull cap. 

VANDALISM

Thursday, Oct. 31—A complainant on Harvard Street reported that a window to his residence broke after an egg was thrown at it. Three teenagers were last seen running east on Harvard Street.
