STRONGARM ROBBERY

Wednesday, April 3—A suspect described as a light skinned male, early 20s, 5-feet, 6-inches tall, with a thin built, entered the 7-Eleven, 15 Bloomfield Ave. and demanded that he be allowed to return a vape pen which he had previously purchased. He then threatened to “beat up” the store employee if he did not give him $60. The suspect took the cash and left the store.

BURGLARY/THEFT

Friday, April 5—Theft of an unattended jacket from a booth inside Tierney's Tavern, 138 Valley Road
Sunday, April 7—Shoplifting of numerous personal hygiene items from CVS, 49 Claremont Ave. The suspects are described as African-Americans in their late 20s. The male is approximately 5-feet, 9-inches, and was wearing a black jacket and light-colored jeans. The female is approximately 5-feet, 4-inches, and was wearing dark pants and a black vest.
Sunday, April 7—Theft of a bicycle from a residential garage on Myrtle Avenue. A window was broken to gain access to the structure.
Monday, April 8—Theft of a bicycle from a residential garage on Orange Road. No sign of forced entry.
Tuesday, April 9— A vehicle was entered and rummaged through on Bloomfield Avenue, but nothing was reported taken.
Tuesday, April 9—Theft of a bicycle from the rear lot of an apartment building on Baldwin Street.
Tuesday, April 9—Theft of a backpack containing a laptop computer from a parked vehicle on Norwood Avenue.

ARRESTS

Saturday, April 6—A 33-year-old man from Clifton, was arrested on Watchung Avenue and charged with DWI.
Saturday, April 6—A 27-year-old woman from East Orange, was arrested on Grove Street and charged with DWI.
Sunday, April 7—A 22-year-old man from Franklin Lakes, was arrested on Elm Street and charged with DWI.
