BURGLARY/ THEFT

Tuesday, Jan. 29— Power tools were taken from a construction trailer on Glenridge Avenue.
Tuesday, Jan. 29 —Theft of delivered packages containing clothing items from the front vestibule of an apartment building on Pine Street.
Tuesday, Jan. 29 —A trailer at a construction site  on Glenridge Avenue was entered. Numerous power tools were taken.
Tuesday, Jan. 29 —An unknown male walked into a Park Street office building and removed an employee’s cell phone and purse.
Thursday, Jan. 31 —A female left a South Park Street business without paying for services rendered.  She was described as a black female, 60-70 years old with short grey hair.
Thursday, Jan. 31 —A 2019 Lexus RX was stolen from the parking lot of a Bloomfield Avenue business.  The vehicle was left unattended and running. It was later recovered in Newark.
Friday, Feb. 1 —A 2016 Ford Explorer was stolen from the parking lot of a Bloomfield Avenue business.  The vehicle was unattended and left running. It was recovered in Newark.
Saturday, Feb. 2 —A trailer containing a 1977 Corvette was stolen from a Lackawanna Plaza parking lot.  Surveillance video shows a white van back up to the trailer, attach it, and drive off towards Glenridge Avenue.
Sunday, Feb. 3 —Two males stole approximately $250 worth of Norelco products from a Valley Road business.  Suspect 1 is described as a 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall black male in his early to mid 20s wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jacket, jeans, dark colored shoes, white headphones around his neck, and a black backpack with a silver stripe down the center. Suspect 2 can be described as a 5 feet 10 inches to 6 foot tall black male with short facial hair, dark (possibly navy blue) puffy jacket, dark hood, wearing a dark colored head scarf, blue jeans and light colored sneakers.

ARREST

Wednesday, Jan. 30 A 47-year-old man from Dayton, was arrested on Valley Road and charged with DWI.
Sunday, Feb. 3 A 20-year-old man from Montclair was arrested on Grove Street and charged with theft.
Sunday, Feb. 3 A 37-year-old man from Newark was arrested on Maple Avenue and charged with DWI.
Monday, Feb. 4 A 23-year-old man from Newark was arrested on Bloomfield Avenue and charged with theft.
