Arrests
Thursday, Feb. 6—A 40-year-old Montclair resident was taken into custody on Bloomfield Avenue after police discovered that he had a warrant issued by the Essex County Sheriff’s Office.
Thefts
Wednesday, Feb. 5— Police responded to the CVS on Claremont Avenue following a report of two males placing body wash into their backpacks. The pair were last seen fleeing south on Pine Street.
Thursday, Feb. 6—Two tires were reported stolen from his vehicle on Pleasant Way.
Thursday, Feb. 6—A black Mongoose bicycle with oversized tires was reported stolen on Pine Street shortly before 9:15 a.m.
Suspicious Incident
Tuesday, Feb. 4—Police responded at approximately 2:26 p.m. on a report of a male attempting to gain access to a parked motor vehicle on Hawthorne Place.
Vandalism
Saturday, Feb. 8—The front and rear windshields of a motor vehicle on Greenwood Avenue were reported smashed, with multiple scratches and dents caused by a rock.
Monday, Feb. 10—Police discovered that multiple signs in the Fairfield Parking Lot had been vandalized with spray paint.
