Montclair police blotter: Sept. 18, 2020
Saturday, Sept. 12 — A 35-year-old Belleville resident was charged with driving while intoxicated on Bloomfield Avenue.
Sunday, Sept. 13 — A 47-year-old Montclair resident was taken into custody on Glenridge Avenue after police learned that there was a warrant for his arrest.
Monday, Sept. 14 — A 33-year-old Woodbridge resident was taken into custody in New Brunswick after police learned that there was a warrant for his arrest.
Friday, Sept. 11 — A Cedar Avenue resident reported that $500 worth of tools was stolen from his enclosed porch.
Saturday, Sept. 12 — An Orange Road resident reported that a chandelier, an Amazon Firestick remote and various prescription medications were stolen from her residence.
Tuesday, Sept. 8 — A motor vehicle owner reported that a diamond ring valued at $1,000 was stolen from inside her motor vehicle on Lincoln Street.
Wednesday, Sept. 9 — A man reported that he was approached by a person who asked him for a dollar at approximately 9:50 a.m. on Bloomfield Avenue. When the man removed money from his pocket, the suspect grabbed the money, $500 in total, and fled.
Thursday, Sept. 10 — A motorcycle owner reported that a license plate was stolen from his motorcycle on Claremont Avenue.
Friday, Sept. 11 — A Montague Place property owner reported that a bicycle was stolen from his property.
