Montclair refuse and recycling collection suspended for Friday, July 8

Friday's refuse and recycling collection in Montclair will be suspended due of the severe weather forecast for tropical storm-force wind and heavy rainfall.

As of Thursday, a tropical storm watch was in effect for all coastal areas of New Jersey, and a flash flood watch was in effect for the entire state.

Tropical Storm force winds could begin as early as Thursday evening and night Heavy rainfall including 1 to 3 inches of rain can be expected from Thursday afternoon into Friday morning.
