Montclair Sentinels, Reaching Out Montclair give out Christmas trees (Photos)
The Montclair Sentinels, in collaboration with Reaching Out Montclair, gave out 65 Christmas trees to Montclair residents this weekend.
This is the fourth year Reaching Out Montclair has passed out trees, coordinator Madeline Guthrie said. Cosmetics entrepreneur Bobbie Brown is one of Reaching Out Montclair's main supporters, Guthrie said.
The trees came from the Cub Scouts Pack 12 Christmas tree sale on Church Street. The Scouts plan to donate 100 trees this year through a partnership with Cedar Grove Trees, scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 13 Michael Bateman said. Bateman is also on the Reaching Out Montclair board.
