Montclair shooting suspect arrested in Newark

Three months after a shooting near a Montclair barber shop on Bloomfield Avenue a suspect has been apprehended, police said.
Rueben Moore, 28, of Montclair, was arrested in Newark without incident on Feb. 13, after Montclair police detectives located him with the help of the Newark Police Department, according to police.
On Nov. 17, police were called to the area of Bloomfield Avenue and Mission Street at 7 p.m. on a report of shots fired. Police found a 26-year-old Montclair man lying on the floor of the barber shop. The victim had been shot on Bloomfield Avenue and made his way into the barber shop, where he collapsed. The victim was taken to Mountainside Hospital for treatment, according to reports.
Moore was identified as the suspect in the shooting, and was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses, police said.
