The House Band of School of Rock Montclair will present a livestream concert in support of MusiCares, a national foundation that provides health and welfare services to professional musicians in times of financial, personal or medical crisis on Thursday, May 27 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The concert will be live stream on the school’s Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages. Donations to MusiCares can be made in the school’s name before during, or after the performance.

“MusiCares does wonderful work for musicians across the country who are in need,” Kevin March, general manager of School of Rock Montclair, said.  “With all of the challenges that so many of our neighbors have faced over the past year, we felt that it was important to also show love for musicians who are having difficulties, and our young musicians are eager to contribute their talents to support this incredible organization.”

The House Band’s one-hour concert will feature hits by Boston, Def Leppard, Earth Wind & Fire, The B-52s, Harry Styles, Extreme, Incubus, Avenged Sevenfold, Iron Maiden, Journey, and Gorillaz.
