Montclair filmmaker Susan Skoog will screen two of her short films in Montclair Film’s screening room, Cinema 505, on Wednesday, July 26, and Thursday, July 27, at 7 p.m.

Cinema 505 is in Montclair Film’s headquarters, the Investors Bank Film and Media Center, 505 Bloomfield Ave. The two films, “What Martha Said” and “The Bake Sale,” were shown at the Montclair Film Festival in 2016 and 2017, respectively.

The shorts are part of Skoog’s digital series “Breeding Grounds,” in which every episode has a scene structured around pickup time at school.

Skoog, who is director of programming for the Film Institute at Montclair State University, said in April that “The Bake Sale” explores “passive-aggressive behavior in women of different classes.”
