Motor vehicle accident near MHS leaves several injured

Several people were reported injured following a two-vehicle accident near Montclair High School Friday afternoon.

The accident happened at the corner of Chestnut Street and Midland Avenue between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

It is not known how many people have been injured, or what the extent of their injuries were. A call to Montclair Police was not immediately returned.

The Montclair Volunteer Ambulance Unit responded to the scene, as did the Glen Ridge and Bloomfield ambulance squads.
