For the fifth year, Montclair Public Library will participate in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). During NaNoWriMo, beginning Nov. 1, participants work toward the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 30. This year, in partnership with the writers’ support group The Write Group, the library will host a series of events:

• 11/2 – NaNoWriMo Strategies & Writing Exercises, with Kyrce Swenson – 7-9 p.m.

• 11/9 – How A Writing Group Can Help You Write, with Carl Selinger of The Write Group – 7-9 p.m.

• 11/15 – Online Marketing, Branding and Blogging Tips for Writers, with Hillary DePiano – 7-8 p.m.

• 11/30 – Converting Your Manuscript to an eBook, with Hank Quense – 7-9 p.m.

In addition, the library is opening its café space to authors every Tuesday in November from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
