
PHOTOS/ VIDEO: Montclair unveils new fire engines
The Montclair Fire Department presented its two new Pierce-Saber® fire engines during an unveiling ceremony held Tuesday, March 5, at Fire Headquarters. The new engines have waterous two-stage pumps which can pump up to 1,500 gallons per a minute, 450 HP Cummins engines, LED lighting and roll up doors. The engines are also equipped with hydraulic rescue tools that enable firefighters to do vehicle extrications. The engines were blessed by Fire Department Chaplain Elbert Maxwell.
