No injuries in Wednesday morning school bus accident
No one aboard a Montclair school bus was injured when it was involved in an accident early Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Orange Road and Pleasant Way just before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, Police Capt. Scott Buehler said. The accident involved the bus and one other vehicle. No injuries were reported to passengers in the second vehicle.
Fifteen people were on the bus including 13 Glenfield Middle School students, a bus aide, and the driver, said Interim Superintendent Nathan Parker in a message sent to families.
A Glenfield Middle School nurse responded to the scene and assessed all of the riders at the scene. Glenfield Principal Erika Pierce also responded.
Students were instructed to report to the nurse if they felt any change in their physical condition during the school day.
The accident is under investigation at this time, Buehler said.
