Obituary: Celine P. Spivey

Celine P. Spivey, 84, of Montclair, died on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019. 

Mrs. Spivey retired from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey after many years of service in mental health. 

She was predeceased by her five siblings, Willie J. Cook, James A. Lambert, Sr., Eleanor Lambert, Sonnie Cole, and Lucy Herbert. 

She is survived by her husband Raymond Spivey; her three children Sheldon B. Pierson, Michael D. Spivey and Tanya C. Spivey; three siblings Ruby P. Sutton, Alfreda Broughton and Howard E. Lambert; as well as 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 15, at St. Paul Baptist Church, 119 Elm St., Montclair. Service to follow at 11 a.m.
