Charles Conzentino of Little Falls, formerly of Montclair, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Feb. 19, 2022. He was 93.

Mr. Conzentino, originally from Pine Street, was born in 1928 in Montclair to Alfonsina and Antonino Conzentino, one of their six children. 

He was an Army veteran and served in the Korean War. After the military he worked in union Local 825 as a heavy machinery operator. 

Mr. Conzentino had many passions in life, including boxing and gardening; he took pride in his tomatoes. He loved to pass time in the garage smoking a cigar and listening to music, with Frank Sinatra being one of his favorites.

He was a devoted husband to Nettie, his loving wife of 70 years until her passing in 2019. 

He was a one-of-a-kind father to his daughter, Carol, and her husband Edward and son Charles, who survive him. He was grandfather and great-grandfather to Brian (Melissa) and their two  children, Adalynn and Ellie; Carla (Casey) and their two children, Chase and Colton; Christina (Milo) and their son, Sebastian, and Andrea, Carolyn (Salvatore) and Charlie.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
