Edward Bindel of Montclair died on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. He was a survivor of the Holocaust when he was a child.

Mr. Bindel created the technology firm Mini-Data, and was instrumental in the creation of the New York Cardiac Center's scholarship program, and he was also instrumental and active in the programs of the Holocaust Council.

He was the husband of Adrian Shelby.  

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 1 at Temple Beth Am, 879 South Beverwyck Road, Parsippany. Interment is immediately following at Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus.
