Obituary: Frank A. Zichelli

Frank A. Zichelli, 87, of Nutley, formerly of Montclair, died on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019. 

Mr. Zichelli was a contractor and the president of M. Zichelli and Sons. He was a Korean War Veteran and served in the Marines.

He is survived by his children Joan Magrane, Frank Zichelli Jr. and his wife Mary Beth, Robert M. Zichelli and his wife Jennifer, Donald J. Zichelli and his wife Julie; his siblings, Eleanor Cirello, Michael Zichelli Jr., Robert “Butch” Zichelli, Jenny Conti; and 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, and by his companion Marlene Facher. 

He was predeceased by his wife Patricia (nee Boylan) by his children, Timothy and Nancy, his siblings Antoinette Caniano, Mary Mastrodomenico, and Nicolina DeAngelis, and his favorite son-in-law Ross Magrane.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug.12 at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St., Montclair.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at St. Cassian’s Church,187 Bellevue Ave., Montclair. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 712 Grove St., Montclair.
