Margaret Camilla “Peggy” Holl, of Cape May Courthouse, formerly of Montclair, died peacefully on Oct. 15, 2022, at Cape May Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was 90.

Mrs. Holl was born in Mountainville, Hunterdon County, to Julius and Camilla Morodan in 1932 and went to high school at Immaculate Conception, graduating in 1952. 

She volunteered at the Verona Public Library for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family. 

When Mrs. Holl moved to Cape May Courthouse, she belonged to the Red Hats, the hospital auxiliary and the Altar Society.  She also volunteered at the ETC Shop, which was an affiliate of Cape May Regional Hospital.

She is survived by her brother, Joseph Morodan; sisters, Anne Holl and Barbara Melillo; six children and their spouses, Frank Holl (Michelle) of Bridgewater, Marge Kapp (Tom) of Avalon, Michael Holl (Suzette) of Netcong, Randy Holl (Maria) of Newark, Delaware, Tim Holl (Carolyn) of Riverdale and Dianne Kane (Matt) of Budd Lake; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

Mrs. Holl was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Joseph Holl.

A memorial service was scheduled at Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park St., on Thursday, Oct. 20,  at 10 a.m., with burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
