Obituary: Mary Palo

Mary Palo, of Seminole, Florida, a former longtime resident of Montclair, died peacefully with her family around her on Oct. 6, 2022. She was 89.

Mrs. Palo was a resident of Montclair for 25 years and worked in retail.

She was a dedicated mom and housewife, and raised five children.

She loved the beach, baseball, animals and, especially, cooking. Everyone raved about her Thanksgiving stuffing and her special Italian meatballs.

She was an animal lover and loved to watch baseball nightly with her dogs.

Mrs. Palo had four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald, and her son, Donald Jr.

A Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona, on Oct. 17, with interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
