Obituary: Cpl. Micheal Simeon Moore

Cpl. Micheal Simeon Moore, formerly of Montclair, died suddenly on July 5, 2019 in Clearwater Fla. were he resided.

Mr. Moore was born on June 1, 1980 to Brinda Moore Grayson and Mark Smith. Mr. Moore grew up in Montclair and attended the public school system. While in High School he joined the Montclair High School Army JROTC and immediately after graduating MHS in 1998 he enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corp. graduating Paris Island, South Carolina in 1999.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of eight years, Michelle; his sons Kaleb and Robert Moore; his sister Michelle Grayson; his brother James Oliver Grayson III; his nieces Briona, Nyree and Jaelyn; his parents; his stepfather James Oliver Grayson, and a host of family and friends.

A memorial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 25 at Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ, 115 Greenwood Ave., Montclair.

In lieu of flowers the family requests those wishing to honor him to do an unexpected and unsolicited random act of kindness towards someone in Micheal's name.
